The 8-way discipline at Skydive Perris featured seven intermediate teams, five advanced teams and eight open teams. After a morning wait for the California fog to clear, teams took to the sky and continued jumping until the final light of the day faded.

In the intermediate class, Air Force Surf N’Turf leads the field after six rounds, with its best performance coming in Round 4 with a score of eight points. Crewm8s XP sits in second place, highlighted by a six-point Round 4.

The battle for third is close, with Perris Bits holding a one-point advantage over Elumin8. The two teams posted identical scores in Rounds 4 and 5, setting up a tight race heading into the final rounds.

The advanced class is even closer. Platinum8 XP holds the top spot with 35 points after six rounds, while Perris Blockhead is just one point behind with 34. XPalidocious, 7 Friends and Tequila Brothers 8 are also within striking distance, with only one point separating the teams in the standings.

With four rounds remaining, the battle for the podium is wide open.

In the open class, six of the eight teams completed seven rounds during a long day of competition. Despite the demanding schedule, the teams continued to put up impressive numbers. XP8 posted the standout performance of the day in Round 6, completing 24 points.

Arizona Airspeed is also putting together a strong performance, currently averaging 13.3 points. Elsinore No Glory No Guthole sits in third with a 12.3-point average, but with additional rounds remaining, the standings could change quickly.
